  • In July 2013, DT released a Request For Proposals for a Public Access Service Provider.

  • September 1, 2009: Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC) begins operating the San Francisco Public Access Channels, to be known as "SF Commons"

  • July 2, 2009: DT issued a Notice of Intent (PDF) to Award a Grant Agreement for Public Access Cable Channel Operator (RFP 04-2009) with BAVC.

  Chronology of Past Events:

  • The Request for Proposals (RFP) for Public Access Cable Channel Operator Re-Bid (04-2009) HAS CLOSED. The Department of Technology has accepted five proposals in response to the RFP. Proposals will be evaluated by a panel and the successful bidder will be announced on this site when the contract is awarded.

     

  • The City re-issued a RFP for Public Access Channel Operator on May 6, 2009. Proposals were due by 12:01 PM on Wednesday June 10, 2009. The RFP can be viewed Here. The following Schedule of Events was in effect for this this RFP:

  May 12, 2009 1:30 PM	Pre-Proposal Conference at One South Van Ness Avenue, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103.
